Björn Quiring

Björn Quiring is Associate Professor at the School of English of Trinity College Dublin. His publications include Shakespeare’s Curse: The Aporias of Ritual Exclusion in Early Modern Royal Drama (Routledge, 2014) and “Interpreting Hamlet’s Pregnant Silences: Nietzsche and Benjamin” (Poetica 52, 2021).

He spoke at the events on “Walter Benjamin and Shakespeare” (2019) and “The Frankfurt School and Shakespeare” (2022), and co-organised the event on “Shakespeare and the Reactionary Mind” (2024).
