Shakespeare in Philosophy

Timo Uotinen is a researcher in literature and philosophy. He is interested in Shakespeare and Shakespearean influences in different cultures. His philosophical interests include critical theory, German Idealism and the philosophy of Francis Bacon.  These interests merge through a focus on ideology, embodiment, the concept of nature and their intertwinement with ethics.

Timo has been co-organising all of the Shakespeare in Philosophy events since their inception as a part of Richard Wilson’s Kingston Shakespeare project.
